Focus and Hang Tools
Posted by Friday, August 29th, 2008

Hello Everyone.

I am looking into getting a new tool for quick focus and hangs. I work in an Entertainment industry, usually on a truss structure or in ballrooms. I frequently deal with Source 4, PARs, and Martin’s MAC 250 and 700, with Megaclamps.

I’ve heard good things about the Ultimate Focus tool. Is it worth my time and more importantly $84 for this device?

I’ve never used the ultimate focus tool, but my friends and I all have “light speed wrenches” from roadietools.com It’s a scaled back version of the ultimate, just for conventionals, and we live by them. I admit the price is a little high on the Ultimate, but if spending that is worth only having to carry one tool with you as opposed to two or three, I’d say go for it.
