How about the challenge of a dimmer-free environment? What kind of fixtures can be used and controlled?

I’m getting to the point where I see a dimmer-free environment as a blessing, not a challenge. That said, you’re looking mostly at LEDs, movers, and digital lighting fixtures. Of course, that’s assuming you have the power available for the amount of movers you require.

I agree with what kcw says. Even most projectors draw less than a couple of PAR64’s or a handful of lekos. LEDs are very easy to work with especially with modern DMX Consoles. Some moving lights can also provide flesh tones if you need them to.
